THE DAY CARE PROGRAM
This program provides opportunities for the total development of the child through various early childhood care and development activities.
The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office supervise and monitor all day care centers in the Barangays in a quarterly basis. The MSWDO ensures that all DCWs/DCCS are pre-assessed and undergone accreditation process by the DSWD.
All barangays must have DCCs sponsored and supported by the barangays and Municipal Government. MSWDO will advocate to the LGU for the provision of incentives to the accredited DCWs/DCCs.
Plantilla position is given to the accredited DCWs as priority according to the level of accreditation. For the protection of the DCWS, LSWDO to advocate to the SB to pass a resolution stating that DCWS with valid accreditation be given due process if ever found violating the rules and procedures of the LGU especially related to political matters. No accredited DCWS are terminated from the service without due process and found guilty of the offense committed.
